KEM FOT DISPERSANT is a liquid compound containing solvents, dispersants, surface-
active agents and biocides which effectively solves the effects of fuel’s instability and
incompatibility when different fuels are blended.
During blending, normally suspended and relatively stable asphaltenes can precipitate
from the fuel and form fuel sludge.
APPLICATION, DOSAGE & CONTROL
KEM FOT DISPERSANT is ideal to suspend heavy asphaltenic fuel particles, to stabilize
and prevent sludge and tank bottom deposits.
Assists in the blending of different grade fuels and the dispersion of sludge maintaining
clean lines and separators and eliminates microorganisms in fuels.
USAGE
KEM FOT DISPERSANT is completely oil - soluble and can be added by a metering pump
or added to the settling tank. The dosage depends upon the quality of the fuel to be
treated.

KEM DP-321 FOT is a liquid product specially formulated to raise the melting point of
sodium-vanadium ash and reduces high temperature corrosion in medium speed
diesel engines.
APPLICATION
KEM DP-321 FOT eliminates the sodium-vanadium deposits forming mainly
on exhaust valve seats and the deposits formed in the exhaust gas turbo charger
in diesel engines burning heavy fuel oils.
PRODUCT USES
KEM DP-321 FOT is completely soluble in the fuel oil and should be dosed either directly
into the service tank or continuously into the fuel line by means of a metering pump.
The dosage rate depends upon the total ash content on the fuel (sodium-vanadium).
As a guide we recommend a rate between 1:4.000 to 1:6.000

KEM FOT fuel oil conditioner is a premium blend of solvents, dispersants,
surfactants and detergents for minimizing the effects of a particular fuel's inherent
instability and/or incompatibility when two or more fuels from different bunker
supplies are blended. During blending, normally suspended and relatively stable
asphaltenes can precipitate from the fuel and form fuel sludge.
The concept of KEM FOT conditioner is twofold:
1. To suspend heavy asphaltenic fuel particles and disperse fuel sludge so that
the fuel can be pumped, centrifuged, preheated, and filtered with
2. a minimum of fouling and subsequent cleaning operations.
3. To dissolve existing fuel sludge into the fuel to become a more stable,
homogeneous fluid. This will maximize the energy potential utilization
of the entire fuel delivery and minimize the accumulation of fuel deposits
such as catalyst fires, dirt, and silt in fuel storage tanks.

pump or added to the settling tank. The dosage depends upon the quality of
the fuel to be treated.
As a general guide, initial dosage recommendation is 1 liter of KEM-DP-FOT
for 1000 liters of heavy fuel oil.
Further dosages after the initial dosage is 1:3000 up to 1:6000 which
depends on the viscosity and the quality of the fuel.

KEM-DP-FOT-PLUS combustion improver is a blend of organic compounds designed to
promote more complete combustion and to maximize the energy release from the
fuel. It can be used in diesel engines, gas turbines and boilers for fuels ranging from
distillate to residual fuel oils.
By providing more complete combustion, KEM-DP-FOT-PLUS combustion improver
reduces the amount of exhaust
particulates and carbon deposits. This action keeps internal combustion surfaces
cleaner and can reduce maintenance costs as well as reducing fuel consumption. KEM-
DP-FOT-PLUS contains no metals and is totally consumed in the combustion process.
Engine tests on a slow-speed diesel engine burning residual fuel oil showed a reduction
of particulates of 18% and smoke opacity of 70% with the use of KEM-DP-FOT-PLUS
combustion improver. In other tests, cetane values of #2 diesel oil improved by 2%
with the use of KEM-DP-FOT-PLUS combustion improver.

Effective January 1st, 2010, the European Union mandates the consumption of 0.1%
sulphur content marine gasoil(MGO) for vessels in ports (directive 2005/33/EU).The
vessels calling on California ports must operate on a 0.5% sulphur distillate fuel no
less than 24 nautical miles from port according to the California Air Resources
Board (CARB).
Unfortunately the procedure for removing sulphur from fuel also removes the
lubricity properties of fuel.
Therefore the need of a lubricity additive is essential.
KEM - FOT - LI is extremely effective at protecting rotary fuel injection equipment
from wear when operating with fuels of low intrinsic lubricity, such as gas oil and
diesel oil. KEM - FOT - LI demonstrates excellent lubricity improving characteristics
by both HFRR and SLBOCLE bench test procedures. This product offers very good
solubility and therefore does not negatively affect filterability characteristics of the
doped middle distillate.

KEM-SOOT soot combustion catalyst is a combination of efficient combustion
catalysts to remove fireside deposits at a controlled rate. The severity of fireside
deposits is mainly dependent on the ash and carbon residue content of the fuel
and overall combustion efficiency. Controlled fireside deposit removal permits
burning to take place without the hazards of soot fires which occur when oxidation
is too rapid.
KEM-SOOT combustion catalyst reacts with combustible carbonaceous deposits in
the soot, breaking down the combustible binders that hold the deposits together
and cause its adhesion to boiler screen and superheater tubes. The loose, dry ash
resulting from the action of KEM-SOOT combustion catalyst is then carried out
with the stack gases or is broken up and eliminated during normal soot blowing
operation. KEM-SOOT combustion catalyst helps reduce fireside corrosion by
removing the binders of corrosion deposits. Generally, in order for untreated soot
to ignite and burn, the temperature must reach approximately

KEM-SOOT-L low temperature soot remover is a unique, catalytic powder designed to
effectively reduce exhaust deposits and to maintain clean heat transfer surfaces in
exhaust gas boilers. Deposits in the exhaust system waste energy, cause corrosion,
increase stack fire potential and can lead to costly repairs.
The low activation temperature 200° C of KEM-SOOT-L soot remover compliments and
assures that the most efficient energy recovery systems remain free of exhaust
deposits. KEM-SOOT-L soot remover works by reducing the ignition temperature of the
organic deposits from incomplete combustion, which bind the adherent incombustible
deposits. In doing so, exhaust deposits become friable losing their adherent properties,
and are easily removed and eliminated during normal soot-blowing operations.

Uncontrolled microbial contamination may corrode fuels, seriously biodegrade the
properties of the fuel and clog lters and nozzles. BIO FUEL 4 biocide is a specially
designed liquid additive, which provides control against microorganisms and bacteria

BIO FUEL 4 is very easy to handle and use. The product is added directly to the fuel
tank, which should be at least 10% full. This will ensure proper mixing of
BIO FUEL 4 in the fuel. Dosage rates are mostly governed by the type of system to be
treated, the nature and extent of microbial contamination and the degree of control
required.

ANTIFROZEN OIL 25 pour point depressant is an ashless, low temperature flow improver for marine distillate fuels, including marine gas oil (MGO), hybrid and
ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel. ANTIFROZEN OIL 25 modifies the crystallization of the wax or paraffin normally found in distillate fuels when subjected to low storage temperatures.
As more vessels are transitting polar waters, the IMO has already proposed the
International Code of Safety for Ships Operating in Polar Waters, or the Polar Code. As more operators evaluate routes across this region to gain voyage efficiencies, it is essential they consider the possible issues regarding the suitability of fuel bunkered prior to entering cold waters. When vessels’ fuels are subjected to cold sea temperatures, especially during winter or
in arctic waters, and are left untreated, fuels will accumulate wax deposits that lead to poor pumpability and filter plugging. In extreme cases, where the fuel is subjected to extremely cold conditions, the fuel will solidify in storage or transfer, leading to engine starvation.
To counter these harsh conditions, ANTIFROZEN OIL 25 is formulated to depress the pour point and improve the cold flow properties of typical marine distillate fuels.
ANTIFROZEN OIL 25 provides superior cold filter plugging point (CFPP) and pour point depression. The advanced chemistry in ANTIFROZEN OIL 25 minimizes the need for expensive kerosene addition and dilution. Generally, when treating fuel that has a cloud point greater than -16°C, ANTIFROZEN OIL 25 will prevent wax buildup and provide trouble-free flow in cold conditions.
