PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
\nEffective January 1st, 2010, the European Union mandates the consumption of 0.1%
\nsulphur content marine gasoil(MGO) for vessels in ports (directive 2005\/33\/EU).The
\nvessels calling on California ports must operate on a 0.5% sulphur distillate fuel no
\nless than 24 nautical miles from port according to the California Air Resources
\nBoard (CARB).
\nUnfortunately the procedure for removing sulphur from fuel also removes the
\nlubricity properties of fuel.
\nTherefore the need of a lubricity additive is essential.
\nKEM – FOT – LI is extremely effective at protecting rotary fuel injection equipment
\nfrom wear when operating with fuels of low intrinsic lubricity, such as gas oil and
\ndiesel oil. KEM – FOT – LI demonstrates excellent lubricity improving characteristics
\nby both HFRR and SLBOCLE bench test procedures. This product offers very good
\nsolubility and therefore does not negatively affect filterability characteristics of the
